The highlights of the parish council meeting held on 14th October were:
  • Clerk apologises for omitting important information from minutes
  • Councillor Modell is criticised by clerk and chairman for raising a number of concerns with the clerk.
  • Ruling group on the council say the large amount of time spent on the phone to Ash Council is not unreasonable.
  • Council agree to spend £4,320 on fencing for Northfield (half cost to Hartley)
  • Concerns raised about Cliffe Airport and Downs Valley mast proposals
  • Councillor Newins raises concerns about grass cuttings left in wood at Rectory meadow - being set on fire by kids.
