1.  Apologies

2.  Minutes of meeting held on 8 September 2005
They were agreed without amendment.

3.  Village Design Statement
By agreement, this item was discussed first.  Gerald had produced a comprehensive first draft, for which the committee congratulated him.  A long discussion on the content followed and many suggestions were made.  It was agreed that Gerald produce a second draft, based on the comments received, consulting with Peter and Mark as necessary.

4.  Matters Arising
Youth Day - Ivy had attended on behalf of the committee for 2 hours.

5. Autumn Event
Ivy reported that she had received sponsorship for the refreshments from Hartley Mini Mart and Budgens.  The latter had also donated a bottle of wine, which we agreed should be the prize in a spot the house competition.  Peter to write letters of thanks to them.  

Other action points agreed were - preparation of banner (Derick/Ivy), video (Malcolm/Gerald), summary of report (Peter), invitations to attend (Gerald/Peter), posters (Peter/Ivy).
