1.  Apologies

2.  Minutes of meeting held on 5 December 2005
They were agreed without amendment.

3.  Matters Arising
None.

4. Treasurer
Mark said that there is now £4,904 in the deposit account.  At present it is earning £13.50 interest monthly.

5.  Fundraiser
Mark reported that a Defra grant is unlikely.  There is a funding fair for Kent and Medway on 7 February which Gerald agreed to attend.  We also agreed to approach Sevenoaks Council about the cost of printing.

6.  Village Design Statement/Parish Plan
The meeting discussed the size and format of the parish plan document.  A stapled A5 booklet with thicker cover was the preferred format.  The following action points were agreed:

• Derick would enquire (1) how much a 40 page A5 size booklet would cost to print, or alternatively how much could be printed for £2,500, together with lead times; and (2) How many copies of a 32 page Village Design Statement could be printed for £2,500.
• Gerald would write to Hartley Primary School for permission to reproduce some of the children's paintings.

Gerald produced a draft village design statement, which will be circulated among the committee members for comment, to be returned to Gerald in time for him to incorporate the amendments by next meeting.

There was also a useful discussion on the format of the parish plan.  Malcolm's draft on transport was praised and it was felt this was the format to follow.  Gerald identified other subject areas that would need to be written, currently Margaret is working on the draft of health.

7.  Other business
(1) It was agreed Gerald should investigate the possibility of another open day in March/April.

(2) Further to an e-mail request for a draft copy of the Village Design statement, the committee agreed it was still in the early draft stage, and it would not be appropriate to publish it yet.
