They were agreed without amendment.

3.  Matters Arising
Printing - Derek circulated a quotation from Southborough and said he was still awaiting one from Orchard Publishing.  Gerald said it may be possible to get another Awards for All grant for year 2.  Actions - (a) Gerald to check with Mark as to what we applied for in the Awards for All (Parish Plan and/or Village Design Statement?); (b) Gerald to get quote for printing from the bookshop at Farningham.

4. Treasurer
Deferred until the next meeting.

5.  Fundraiser
Gerald gave a report of his visit to the Kent Funding Fair.  He said there is a whole wealth of grants out there that people in Hartley are not tapping into.  For example he cited 2 possibilities - (a) grants for our future work; (b) grants to preserve the United Reformed Church for public use.

6.  Village Design Statement/Parish Plan
Gerald thanked everyone for their comments, most of while he had incorporated in the second draft.  This was discussed at length and amendments agreed.  Action - Gerald to continue drafting.

7.  Parish Plan
Detailed discussion was deferred to the next meeting, but it was agreed Gerald could ask committee members to write items in the meantime.  So far Gerald has written items on Water, Sewage, and the Library; Margaret on Health and Malcolm on Transport, while currently Malcolm is working on Television and Gerald is to find someone to write the section on Youth.

8.  Open Day
It was agreed to hold an event at All Saints' Hall on Saturday 8th April.  Actions - (a) Ivy to organise sponsorship for the refreshments; (b) Gerald to arrange adverts for the Hart and Town and Country Post.
