Public Transport - Dial a Ride This
is a service provided by Kent County Council for those with a medical
condition which makes travelling by public transport difficult, or for
those who live more than 400m from a bus route. It costs £5
a year to join, plus the fares for the journey. You can travel
anywhere in Dartford, Gravesend and Swanley areas and to some places
in SE London. It is available 8am to 6pm weekdays and 9am to 6pm
at weekends.

Car Drivers - Blue Badge
Scheme This scheme allows badge
holders to park in designated parking bays or on some double-yellow
lines. The scheme is run by Kent County Council and details are
to be found on their website

Floating Support The aim of Floating Support is to give short
term (up to 2 years) help to tenants or homeowners who are in difficulties
to remain independent. This scheme is not just for the disabled
but "anyone who needs housing-related support" (examples include
the elderly, teenage parents, those fleeing domestic abuse). Contact
