The Batts were leasehold owners of Hartley Wood Farm, now called Hartley Manor.

To son in law Laurence Evans (who married his daughter Margaret), who he has already given £200 in marriage settlement: another £200 (lengthy provisions).

To grandson Robert: £100

To son Robert (executor): all real and personal estate.
